International Women's Day

Women's History Month, and International Women's Day specifically, are important moments for celebrating the incredible achievements of women throughout history - and our own women as well! While we wish we could be gathered in person to commemorate this time together, we're taking things digital this year.

This year's International Women's Day theme of "Choose to Challenge" is an important one: gender bias and inequality are still major issues that we face in society globally. We need to each do our part to call these out and work to create a more equitable, inclusive world. We asked some of our own women around the globe to join in on the conversation and share what they #ChooseToChallenge. Here's what they had to say...

Trina (Business Analyst, London)

"I choose to challenge the perception that women have to compromise in life. We all know that women compromise in life - no matter what stage they are at - whether it's at work or at home. I'm constantly surprised by the sacrifices that my female friends have made for their partners, their children, or even just their day-to-day life. I say no. I say a woman deserves what she wants and not what she's expected to want."

Victoria (Sarbanes-Oxley and Financial Audit Associate, NYC)

"I choose to challenge the perception that women aren't capable of being leaders. As a mother of a daughter, it is my duty to teach her to shatter glass ceilings - not to fit into glass slippers."

Xia (Dealer Sales Representative, Hong Kong)

"I choose to challenge the perception that women cannot balance both work and family. I believe it's totally possible to find a balance by setting goals and priorities and making constant adjustments."

Solenn (Research Analyst, London)

"I choose to challenge gender stereotypes and bias so that all children can pursue their dreams without limits."

Aileen (Talent & Leadership Development, NYC)

"I choose to challenge the idea that women and working parents aren't critical to the workforce. We've made so much progress over the last 50 years. We need to make sure we keep it up for the next generation."

Camille (Head of Post Trade Straight Through Processing Business Development, London)

"I choose to challenge: I want to encourage all young girls to believe that they can go into any career that they choose."
